EXTENSIVE PROBATE EXPERIENCE-

JUDICIAL, ATTORNEY, AND GUARDIAN

• Serving as a Probate Court Magistrate for over 3 years (appointed June 2022) in Montgomery County

• Presided over 2,400 probate cases (Estates, Adoptions, Guardianships, Trusts, and Mental Illness cases)

• Practiced probate and family law for 15 years in Greene County

• Served as guardian to advocate for those most vulnerable in our community for about 10 years

RESPECTED LEADER, EDUCATOR, AND INNOVATOR

• Served as Past President of the Greene County Bar Association (2022)

• Served as Past Chair of the Grievance and Ethics Committee, Greene County Bar Association

• Created and developed the Self-Help Center for self-represented parties at Montgomery County Probate Court

• Created probate materials used in the innovation of an Ohio probate turbo tax style form generating software and assisted in development of the software 

• Educates attorneys on probate law at seminars

• Resided in Greene County for 40 years (Beavercreek, Fairborn, and Bellbrook)

• Graduated from Beavercreek High School

• Graduated from Wright State University

• Started law practice in Xenia at Gibney, Stephan & Barrett

• Currently resides in Bellbrook with her husband and four children
